Our Rosharon, TX client is seeking a Payroll Clerk for a temp to possible hire opportunity.

Essential Functions:
Collects, calculate, and enters payroll data.
Data entry exp. is a must.
Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, pay rates, insurance coverage, job titles, etc.  Handles department/division transfers.
Inputs hours and earnings.
Communicates with employees, answers their questions, and resolves problems.
Processes garnishments and tax levies, and handles associated communications.
Keeps the Payroll Manager informed concerning any issues/problems he/she becomes familiar with.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma required.
Bilingual a plus.
Working experience with Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint.
2 -3 years of Payroll experience required.
Fundamental understanding of computer applications, including payroll software, spreadsheets, and word processing
